The session emphasizes real-world business scenarios, prompt refinement techniques, and validation strategies to ensure AI-generated insights remain accurate and actionable. By the end of the session, attendees will be able to use Copilot to streamline reporting workflows and uncover insights more efficiently-while maintaining analytical control.

Prerequisites

This is not a beginner Excel class.

Participants must:

• Be comfortable working with Excel spreadsheets
  
• Understand basic Excel formulas and pivot tables
  
• Regularly analyze or report on data in their role
  
• Navigate Excel confidently without step-by-step instruction
  

Attendees who are new to Excel, unfamiliar with data analysis concepts, or looking for introductory spreadsheet training may find this session too advanced.

Participants should also have access to Microsoft 365 Copilot within Excel (the in-app Copilot pane). The standalone Copilot chat experience does not provide the same workbook-level data interaction demonstrated in this session.
